Ottawa Centre Four-Candidates Debate (virtual)

Appearing will be the candidates for the Conservative, Green, NDP and Liberal parties. The event will be moderated by Lucy Van Oldenbarneveld.

This event is organized by the Glebe Community Association in collaboration with eight other community associations.
Parkdale Participates
When: September 15, 2021, 1-3 p.m.
Where: Outdoors in front of the Parkdale Food Centre at 30 Rosemount Avenue
Program: General mingling between 1-2 p.m.; an opportunity for each present candidate to speak and answer questions between 2-3 p.m.
The specific focus will be on the candidates’ party’s policies and planned actions regarding food security and food sovereignty, as well as poverty reduction and elimination.
Organized by the Parkdale Food Centre (PFC), the Ottawa Community Food Partnership (OCFP), and the City for All Women Initiative (CAWI).
The event will be held outside underneath our large tent and masks will be required of all guests.

Canada is Still on Fire

Wednesday, Sept. 8th people all across the country will be rallying to make sure that the climate emergency is a top election issue and that all politicians and parties ramp up their climate ambitions.
Come out to Parliament Hill at noon to demand that politicians act with courage and respond quickly and effectively to the climate emergency.
