Angela’s priority actions for accountability:
Face hard truths and genocide, make reparations, move on reconciliation, rights and sovereignty of Indigenous peoples.
Implementation of the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls report, and the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Rebuild relationships with Algonquin nation in Ottawa.
Rebuild relationships that are respectful between the City of Ottawa, the National Capital Commission and the communities constituting the Algonquin Nation.
Reform the electoral system so that all votes count.
